Had a great time on Monday sharing how to make the great pop-up bouquet inside the card. I was challenged to do it using the Cricut and one of the Close To My Heart cartridges. I chose Art Philosophy for the flowers and it worked well.

Hi there my crafting friends. A new era in crafting has begun for me with the arrival of my Cricut Explore. I have been playing and saving designs in Cricut Design Space and now I am cutting. It is a whole new headspace for me but I am enjoying it. The Explore cuts so quietly and is good on intricate cuts. I made a wedding card tonight and am happy with it as a first "solo" project.

Happy crafting

My Pop up Box Card
Thank you Narelle Darley for sharing your CCR file with me. It made it very easy to assemble.I love the score then cut feature. You can download her file here

Of course it then took half a day to workout what I was going to decorate it with and cut the shapes from quite a few Cricut cartridges: Joys of the Season, Christmas Cheer, Create a Critter 2 and Christmas. Quite pleased with the result and want to try a few more. Hope you like it as much as the great ladies in my Thursday class. All CTMH cardstock.

Origami Christmas Decoration

I have had so much fun making these with all my groups. Thank you Julie Makela for showing me how to make these.

They only need a 6 inch square of quality paper. Very economical if you use those 6 inch pads in your stash. Have fun.
You can download my instructions for this here

Well I have been away a long time but back to crafting now. I have been preparing for CTMH Training on the wonderful new Cricut Cartridge Collection "Artfully Sent". It has so much to offer.

Christmas is just around the corner and I have had classes on projects and cards as well as the regular Cricut Crops. I just love the preparation for Christmas and really have to get into making the Christmas Cakes and Puddings. Some travel has put me behind but I have the fruits and must procrastinate no longer.

Watch this space please.

I call this one a Sara Lee Card - layer upon layer upon layer. A little peek for you from the new CTMH Annual Inspirations 2014-2015. Current products are Colonial White cardstock, Paper Fundamentals Basics Assortment, Kraft Cardstock, Black cardstock and a new stamp set. So perfect for the special men in your family at any time of the year and for Father's Day coming soon.

Now I am taking a little break from blogging and I'll be back with more after 7th August 2014.
Happy Crafting.
